  1. The Silencers were a very underrated 80s "alternative" band that used keyboards to create sublime tunes that I think would qualify as "dream pop" nowadays. Lead singer Jimme O'Neill was also with the late 70s band Fingerprintz (please, please, please, someone release those early albums on CD!), and then went on to form this fine band/5(16).
